2016 was undoubtedly a golden year for all the Kdrama fans. We got to watch few amazing series, that made us smile when we were feeling down and taught us few life lessons. So on a random Sunday evening, I decided to sit and look back to the dramas of that glorious year. And here are my top favorite ones listed below –
1. Moon Lovers –
I’ll admit shamelessly that I was a trash for Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Starting from the first episode to the last, I was hooked into this series the entire time. Lee Jun Gi as Wang So took my fangirling to a whole new level.
2. Weightlifting Fairy –
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo was like a hidden gem I found while searching for pebbles. “A story about a weightlifter? This drama is soo not my type!”, that’s what I was thinking before watching this drama. But I was wrong all along and fell in love with this drama before I even knew it.
3. W – Two Words –
A comic book character that stole everyone’s heart! Yes, I’m talking about our favorite Lee Jong Suk as, who swept all the fangirls off the floor all over again. The unique storyline of the drama was not enough, they had to put Lee Jong Suk’s charming personality and the adorable lead couple in the drama, making it a must watch.
4. Moonlight Drawn By Clouds –
I could give you a hundred reasons why you need to watch this show, but I’ll just share one for now, and that one reason is Park Bo-Gum. He was amazing in this drama, like all his previous ones. And the main lead couple was beyond adorable. ❤ Continue reading “My Top 10 favorite Korean drama of 2016”
Top 10 Reasons to watch the Popular Kdrama ‘Goblin’
If you’re into Kdrama, you’ve probably heard a lot about ‘Goblin’ already. In case you’re not sure whether or not to give it a try, here I’m to help you out. You can thank me later. 😀
1. The unique story –
I swear I had decided that I’d avoid ongoing dramas, (After Effect of Moon Lovers), but the teaser videos of Goblin made me betray myself. The videos were so compelling I just couldn’t stop myself from diving into the awesomeness of ‘Goblin’. 😀 And trust me, the same is bound to happen to you too.
2. The Cinematography –
Drop dead gorgeous. You won’t be able to take your eyes off the screen for a second.
3. The ‘Goblin and his bride’ –
The Main OTP is downright adorable. I still don’t get why some fans are making a fuss about Eun Tak being a teenager, cause it actually doesn’t make any sense. Kim Shin is like 900 years old and Eun Tak is 19. You just can’t evaluate them as normal couples you know. 😉
4. The Bromance –
I really didn’t expect to fall for the bromance between a Goblin and a Grimreaper, but I did. Some fangirls are hooked into this drama solely for the bromance between these two immortal beings and it makes perfect sense. I won’t be surprised if they get the best couple award in the future. 😛 Continue reading “10 Reasons why you must watch ‘Goblin’”

My top 10 favorite moments from ‘Descendants Of The Sun’
1. Their first meet-
I loved how they met out of nowhere and something just occurred between them like magic. Is that what you call love at first sight? May be. 🙂
I don’t think I’d find anyone who didn’t love the way Song Joong Ki flipped the mobile in midair. 😛
2. Reunion at Urk –
One of my favorite moments! Song Joong ki coming out of the plane and walking towards Song Hye Kyo, plus the background music … ahh breath-taking!! Continue reading “Top favorite ‘Descendants Of The Sun’ moments”

I’m one of those thousands fans out there who is hoping to just wake up one morning with the news of ‘Akatsuki No Yona’ getting a sequel; and I don’t think I’m demanding anything that is unworthy of our time and attention. Here is why –
1. The amazing story deserves a proper ending:
The plot of Akatsuki no Yona was one of it’s key selling point. The story was thoroughly interesting which made the fans engaged to the series right off the bat. The enjoyment lasted throughout the show, however the incomplete ending didn’t do justice to this amazing series. The way the show ended only meant that the journey had just begun.
2. The ongoing manga has got some cool Arcs:
‘ANY’ is one of the few Anime that did justice to the original story of the Manga. Fans of the book know very well that the story only gets more interesting in the upcoming chapters. The manga is still on-going so lots of nail biting moments are there that can be the perfect source material for a new season.
I’ll keep it short. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want to see more of the ‘Thunder Beast‘? ❤ I can keep on watching this show forever only for Hak himself. Continue reading “10 Reasons why ‘Akatsuki No Yona’ should get a 2nd Season”
