My thoughts –
Gekkan shoujo is one of the most funniest show I’ve watched recently!! Want a good laugh? Watch this Anime, trust me you wont regret it one bit. 🙂 It’s very refreshing & entertaining and it will make you laugh uncountable times.

The Anime didn’t have a solid plot to be honest. The show mostly focused on the characters and their daily interactions with one another. The story was nothing extraordinary but the constant turns of interesting events was what made the Anime worth watching. One of the most praiseworthy attribute of the show was how wonderfully it combined romance & comedy in the story. That was one of the key selling points of the show.

The best part of the show was the characters and their interactions. Starting from the main protagonists to the supporting ones, every single character was thoroughly likable. They never failed to make me laugh with their silly & weird activities.

Interactions between Sakura & Nozaki-kun were enjoyable to the fullest. Nozaki’s obliviousness when it comes to romance was beyond hilarious and Sakura’s undying attempts to win his heart over was downright adorable. And I personally think that given the chance, Sakura & Nozaki-kun will be an adorable couple. 😀

Mikoshiba was my personal favorite. The flirtatious bishounen who secretly blushes while smooth talking to girls, what’s not to like? 😛 I absolutely loved his dual personalities. And the way Chiyo used to call him ‘Mikorin’ was so freaking kawaii!!!

Hori senpai & Kashima was one of my most fav ship.<3 The way they acted around each other and all of their weird activities was actually quite cute in my opinion. I literally thought Kashima was a guy in the first place, well duh she LOOKS like a guy and her confusing appearance was the source of much enjoyment for the audience.  Loved the funny relationship between Seo & Wakamatsu as well. The weird combination of the naive Wakamatsu & oblivious Seo senpai was humorous.

Final Thoughts – A worth watching show, highly recommended for people who enjoy slice of life comedies, with a touch of romance. It was funny & purely entertaining. So if you want to have a good time and a good laugh, give it a try.

  • Positive – Sublime Comedy
    – Versatile & funny Characters
    – Simple & adorable romantic elements
    – Good graphics & ost
  • Negative – Lacks depth & romance

My ratings –

Story/Plot – 8/10
Characters – 9/10
Enjoyment – 9/10
Art/Visuals – 8.5/10
Ost – 7/10

Overall –  8.5/10  ^_^
