My thoughts – The drama was downright enjoyable. It was only 2 episodes long but it managed to capture all the positive aspects. I used to avoid historical dramas cause I had this feeling that they tend to be somewhat boring. How wrong I was! The fusion of history and present life was thoroughly fun to watch and the romance between a high school girl and a king was like the cherry on top. 🙂 Starting from the very first moment the drama managed to get me hooked and the enjoyment remained till the last moment of the show.

Yoon Do-joon and Kim Seul-gi were the perfect casts for the characters. Their chemistry, comedic performance and acting made the show worth watching multiple times. Kim Seul Gi gave life to the character ‘Dan bi‘, who was a funny & quirky high school girl burdened with pressure from studies. She had the potential within, but was not confident enough regarding her entrance exam which made her want to disappear to a distant land. Which is what happened, and we got to see our King Yoon Do joon. He was charming, caring and funny as well. I enjoyed every screen time of the main leads. Their connection was pure and heartfelt. Whether it was doing maths together or hugging, they looked adorable in everything. 🙂

My thoughts –

‘Kill Me Heal Me’ was undoubtedly one of the best dramas of this season. It’s awesome from almost every angle. The drama itself was a complete package of romance, humor, tragedy, excitement & suspense. The plot was unique, well-written & wonderfully executed. The consistency it maintained throughout the last episodes was worth complimenting. Even though the story was a little stretched somewhere at the end, yet the last few episodes were no less exciting than the first ones. That’s what makes the drama worth watching several times. My thoughts –

I started watching this show because of Eun Ji. Yes you heard that right! 😛 I had just finished watching ‘Reply 1997’ and I was all over Eun Ji at that moment. So I just randomly played the first episode and watched a few scenes and before I knew it I got addicted to it. :3 Gorgeous leads, awesome cinematography, the Camera work, breathtaking natural backgrounds, indoor decoration everything was soo soothing for the eyes, I was forced to download the HD version of the show.

K-Drama Quotes – Reply 1997/Answer me 1997

Here are some of my most favorite quotes from the K-drama Reply 1997 (Aww I miss this Drama like hell!! 😥 )-

|Episode 1 & 2|

# “At the age of 18, we think we can love anyone … and worry too much about little things. Eighteen. Adults say at this age, we laugh at the simplest things. But at that time, we were serious. Harder and more intense than most adults.” – Shi Won

answer-me-1997-quote

# “Once we tried to be the same. But one day we started to change. Becoming different people .. why was it so hard to admit it? Everyone is different. That’s the way of the world. The way of growing up. At the age of 18, we were growing up and therefore changing from each other. At the same time we had to confront another growing pain, that of accepting others.” – Yoon Jae (Episode 2)

|Episode 3 & 4|

# “A secret refers to something I don’t know about others… As I find out what I’ve believed isn’t the truth, secrets have more power… Things I believe to be true aren’t always true.” – Shi Won

# “The human mind is infinite. Neither its depth nor its end can be known. They fight to the death some days, and then they show their love and affection for each other. A normally hot-blooded male could become a coward in front of girls.” – Shi Won

#Yes, the truth is inconvenient. But if we don’t accept that, we have to live with lies. We have to accept inconvenient truths. what we see is not everything.” – Shi Won

reply-1997-quote

# “I knew it then. When you start to like someone, she is all you can think of. And there is no gain without effort. Whatever you want, you can’t get it if you stand still. There is no such thing as fair play anymore.” – Yoon Jae
